About Me & This Site
My name is Emma-Jane, I'm English but I currently live in Paris,
France, where I work for an IT company as a website developer. I
recently completed a Master's Degree in Ancient History &
Archaeology and started my own webdesign and web development business
last summer. I have many varied interests (some may even say too many),
several revolving around anything internet related. I also enjoy
cooking, crazy partying with friends, reading, drawing and visiting
museums. Most of the time I carry my digital camera around with and and
snap anything that catches my eye.
Oh, and I love Jack Russell Terriers. A lot.
My favorite camera of the moment is a silver
Panasonic Lumix FZ-38
which I think is the best thing since sliced bread. I am certainly not
a professional photographer, but it's something I really do enjoy. I recently upgraded from the FZ-18 and I'm loving the newer version! I also sometimes use the Canon IXUS 80 that is small and cute and lives in my handbag or
steal borrow my friend's
Nikon D300 (not that much though, that thing is waaaay too heavy to carry around). All
the pictures on this website were taken by yours truly, and are not to be used elsewhere without permission. Most of the older, smaller photos were taken with my ancient (crappy)
Fuji Q1,
that, despite it's crappiness, served me faithfully for many years, and
that I still use on occassion when I feel up to a challenge or am
forced to carry around an abnomally small handbag...
